Whether you're just starting out and want to try something new, or want to hone your skills and work your way into a competitive squad, Dev is the place for you. Training takes place twice a week, with a targeted training schedule to build on all aspects of your game throughout the year. Training is run by our Development captains and officers, with the assistance of captains of the competitive squads, who lend their expertise and keep an eye out for players ready to join the 3rd XI

 

We organise friendly games against other universities' development squads to build players' confidence, ready for the showdown against York at Roses in Summer term.

Whilst there is opportunity for aspiring members to progress to competitive teams, most importantly, we want you to have fun and make some great friends, be it at trainings or at socials.
